HISTORY: This coin was designed by Greek engraver Vassos Falireas (1905–1979) and struck at the Bern Mint. Falireas had previously designed the obverse of the 1952 Oslo Winter Olympic medal and other coins featuring Greece’s King Paul.
OBVERSE: Portrait of King Constantine II, who was enthroned in 1964. V. Falireas signature beneath neck.
REVERSE: Royal coat of arms between a mirrored Hercules with club and lion pelt.
