OBVERSE: “EΛΛHNIKH ΔHMOKPΔTIΔ” (the Greek Democracy) frames an ancient olympian athlete, lifting two heavy sacks upon his shoulders. “100 ΔPX.” (drachmes) to the right.
REVERSE: “ΠAΓKOΣMIO ΠPΩTAΘΛHMA APΣHΣ BAPΩN” top, “70° ANΔPΩN – 13° ΓYNAIKΩN” bottom. Modern day weightlifter in center with the anthemion flower mint mark of the Greek Mint above. To the left is “AΘHNA 1999.”
